Instructor: Rachel Thurber
Using hand held frame looms, we will be creating stunning woven tapestries, drawing inspiration from the mountains. There will be a sample to follow, along with pre-selected yarn. Each attendee will also definitely have the option to create whatever they'd like, using their own references and inspiration, along with creating their own color schemes. You can look forward to learning the basic steps of weaving, and a more advanced technique, called the tapestry weave. This workshop will take about 4 hours, and feel free to bring a snack!
