Step into a magical world where tiny doors lead to enchanted forests and every stick, stone, leaf, and pinecone can become part of a fairy's home! In Fairy House Creations, young artists will design and build whimsical fairy houses and miniature habitats using clay, natural materials, recycled treasures, wood, fabric, paint, and a variety of mixed media.
Throughout this imaginative 6-week class, children will explore sculpture, handbuilding, painting, collage, and creative construction while learning how artists transform everyday materials into magical works of art. As they build tiny homes, gardens, bridges, furniture, and enchanting details, students will strengthen fine motor skills, practice creative problem-solving, and bring their own stories and characters to life.
Each week introduces new techniques and materials, encouraging children to experiment with texture, shape, balance, and design while expressing their unique ideas. Along the way, they'll discover that inspiration can be found everywhere—from nature walks to recycled objects waiting for a second life.
