*Workshop held at TNL Annex, 713 Pearl *
Embrace the slower rhythm of winter with an evening of creativity, reflection, and intention setting at The New Local with ceramic artist, Bridget Dorr.
In this calming, hands-on ceramics workshop, participants will create a small, personal altar or keepsake space from clay—a meaningful place to hold the things that bring us comfort, inspiration, and connection.
Through guided hand-building techniques, you'll shape and personalize your piece with words, symbols, natural textures, and thoughtful details that reflect what you'd like to welcome, nurture, or let go of in the season ahead. Your finished altar can become a special place for a candle, dried flowers, photographs, or other treasured objects.
Paired with warm tea and a gentle guided reflection, this workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and create something meaningful with your hands.
No ceramics experience is necessary. Come as you are, enjoy the creative process, and leave with a renewed sense of intention for the winter season.
