Step into a world of imagination where anything is possible! In Miniature Worlds, young artists will dream up and build their very own tiny worlds from the ground up. From magical forests and underwater kingdoms to futuristic cities and hidden fairy villages, each student will create a one-of-a-kind world filled with original characters, creatures, buildings, and stories.

Using a wide variety of art materials—including clay, found objects, fabric, paper, paint, recycled materials, natural elements, and mixed media—students will learn creative construction techniques while bringing their ideas to life in three dimensions. Along the way, they'll develop problem-solving skills, practice storytelling, and explore how artists use texture, color, scale, and design to create immersive environments.

In addition to building their miniature worlds, students will write and illustrate a handmade storybook that introduces their characters, maps their world, and tells the adventures that take place within it.

The session concludes with a special Family Showcase, where students will present their miniature worlds, share their stories, and celebrate eight weeks of creativity, imagination, and artistic exploration.

Students will explore:

  • Sculpture and clay techniques
  • Mixed media and recycled art
  • Character and world building
  • Storytelling through art and writing
  • Creative problem-solving and design
  • Collaboration, imagination, and artistic confidence

No experience is necessary—just bring your imagination!
