Discover the exciting world of fabric, fiber, and design! In Textile Design Studio, students will explore how artists and designers transform simple materials into beautiful works of art. Through weaving, fabric painting, block printing, botanical dying, embroidery, sewing, and other hands-on techniques, young makers will create one-of-a-kind textiles while learning about patterns, color, texture, and cultures from around the world.
Throughout the session, students will experiment with a variety of fiber arts techniques while developing creativity, patience, and craftsmanship. Each project encourages personal expression and introduces skills that can be used for future sewing, fashion, and textile design. Families are invited to a special end-of-session showcase to celebrate students' handmade creations on the last day.
