Designed for ages 9–13, Botanical Arts & Fibers Camp is perfect for crafty tweens who are ready to take a deeper dive into hands-on art making. This immersive camp blends nature, design, and fiber arts, inviting older campers to slow down, experiment, and develop more advanced skills while creating meaningful, beautifully crafted pieces.
Campers will work with natural and plant-based materials to explore techniques such as botanical printing, natural dyeing, basic weaving, embroidery, fiber sculpture, and mixed-media textile art. We’ll spend time outdoors observing and gathering inspiration from plants and natural textures, then bring those elements into the studio to transform them into intentional, skill-building projects.
With an emphasis on process, craftsmanship, and creative independence, this camp offers a supportive environment for curious, detail-oriented makers who are excited to learn new techniques, refine their ideas, and express themselves through art inspired by the natural world.
