LGBTQ+ Family Clay Class

Sunday, June 23rd

1:30-3pm

All Ages

Free Community Class, any donations go towards our children's scholarship fund

Instructor: Lynette Errante

Join queer ceramicist and art fairy Lynette Errante for a very special class celebrating our LGBTQIA+ families! Families come in all shapes and sizes so bring your partner, your parents, your kiddos or your chosen family member for this afternoon of creativity and community.

Families will have the chance to create a matching set of bowls or mugs/cups and decorate them however you choose!

Anyone is welcome to register for this class, it's main purpose is to provide a community art space for anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ to create alongside their family.

**Please notate group size when registering**

About the instructor:

Lynette, our resident art faerie and gallery director at The New Local, is certified in art education grades K-12. She taught art in Guatemala and Tanzania, was a school age youth and camp director at a community center in NY for 6 years and loves to bring the art experience to EVERY kid! Lynette has taught everything from printmaking to ceramics, pre-school body painting to sculpture! When she is not at The New Local, you will find her foraging for flowers, hiking, creating hand-built ceramics at her studio in East Boulder or adventuring with her partner.
