Instructor: Lynette Errante

In this 8 week class, kiddos will develop clay skills in hand building and ceramic design using their creativity! Young artists will experiment with traditional techniques in ceramic-making, including pinch, coil, and slab methods as well as go outside the box to use clay in new ways. Then, they will learn about the process of adding textures and glazes to enhance their unique artwork and explore all that we can do with clay.

Each week will focus on a different clay technique in a creative way to create a sculptural or functional pieces of ceramics. Children will glaze all their pieces by th end of the 8 weeks to be picked up and treasured.

New this session: We have bumped the class up from 6 weeks to 8 weeks to fit in more clay experiences!  Also, on the last day of class, parents will be invited to participate in a class taught by KIDS to showcase all they have learned and have the opportunity to teach their adults a new skill!

**If your child has taken ceramics class with Lynette before, we will be doing all new projects. Each session is a brand new experience!**

All levels welcome!
