Discover the joy of creating with your hands in our upcoming ceramic planter workshop! Join us for a delightful 2.5-hour session where you'll craft your very own handmade planter, perfect for housing your favorite succulents and cacti.
What You'll Experience:
Alev from AMIO CERAMICS will guide you through the entire process of creating either a beautiful tabletop ceramic planter or a unique wall-hanging ceramic planter. In this workshop you will learn fundamental hand-building techniques in ceramics. Choose from a variety of glaze colors or add some carvings to it to personalize your creation and make it truly your own.
The Instructor:
Alev is a French ceramic artist who started her journey in Cork Ireland where she lived for 14 years and where she first discovered her passion for ceramics, she now creates from her studio in Boulder, Colorado. Her work is simple, elegant and inspired by nature with a neutral color palette.

The Process:
After the workshop, your planter will undergo a professional drying and firing process which will include a bisque firing and a glaze firing. Your finished masterpiece will be ready for pickup at The New Local within 2-3 weeks, complete with everything you need to start your planting journey.
