This workshop will be held at The New Local Annex located at 713 Pearl St. A few doors west of the our main gallery location.
We will lead attendees in carving a Seelye Root Stacker ring, using the art of lost wax casting. A tradition that runs deep in humanity and is relativity lost in modern day society. It is our absolute joy to share with our community an art form that we find so sacred.
Once the workshop is complete, we collect the wax carvings and design notes and take them off to post-production to be edited, sized, cast in metal, and polished. Rings will be returned to the wearer in 6-8 weeks to be cherished for years to come.
All levels are welcome, specifically beginners!
This workshop will be filled with connection and creativity. We can’t wait to experience it with you.
The ticket price is $250, which includes -
- Light refreshments
- All the materials and instruction needed to carve one ring that will be cast in sterling silver.
Add-ons, including the option to cast in 14k gold, and ethically sourced stones, are available and paid for at the time of event.
