Staying Calm with Pranayam

Breathe Again: Powerful Pranayam to Unlock the Bandhas in the Key of Ong

Breath is the foundation of life—it animates, rejuvenates, calms, balances, heals, and sustains. Yet, in our daily lives, are we truly breathing deeply, using it to its fullest potential for our health and well-being? Many of us hold our breath, barely taking in enough to get by, or ignore it altogether. But what if you could harness the power of pranayam to break through limitations, awaken vitality, and cultivate inner peace and happiness?

When practiced correctly, these pranayams influence the brain, particularly the thyroid, which governs beauty and longevity. Chanting the sacred sound of Ong—the vibration of the Ajna Chakra (the 6th center of consciousness)—builds power, stamina, and vitality. The specific sound of Ong (versus Om) is the sound of the infinite, resonating through the central nervous system and expanding outward, infusing the practitioner with the pure essence of life.

The pranayam and meditation offered in this workshop are deeply personal and will develop slowly, gently, and with sophistication. No extreme effort or prior experience is required. All are welcome. The only requisite is an open heart and an ego left at the door.

In this session, we will:

Gather in a sacred circle for a grounding meet and greet

Engage in light Kundalini Yoga warm-ups (specific kriya with asana)

Practice three pranayams, accompanied by the resonance of  the therapeutic gong to elevate vibrational frequency and calm down the nervous system to relax and renew.

Conclude with a deeply restorative Shavasana, bathed in the healing sound of the gong.

All are welcome. Step into this sacred space, breathe deeply, and unlock the infinite within.
