Dawn on an open plain... The way sunlight spills across a forest floor.. Wayfinding, and the sanctuary of our heart's inner landscape...
Stillness... seedpods... wonder…. wingspan...
What is it that wakes us each day, and sends us out into the world? What sustains us? How do we gather light? I'm interested in the poetry of subtleties, and moments of quiet illumination. I'm moved by ideas of sustenance, daily rituals, and quiet acts of devotion. Through the language of drawing, sculpture, and fiber-based work, I hope to explore these questions, based on ways of knowing drawn from the natural world.

I was born amidst a patchwork of open fields, wild at the edges with milkweed and sweetgrass. The land was endless, a growing invitation of wonder, wander and ways of knowing… This verdant curiosity eventually led me to Boston, where I earned an M.A. in art education at Tufts/ School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Recent exhibitions include- solo shows-  “A Light Within” at The ArtBase in Basalt, and “Ode” at Mercury Framing in Boulder. Other select exhibitions include- “All Colorado” at the Curtis Center in Greenwood Village, “Contemporary Art Survey” at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, as well as shows in Boston, Newport, San Gimignano, Italy and many years of ArtMix at BMoCA. As a former Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art educator, I was honored to lead classes, camps and workshops for many years, and am continually inspired by moments of wonder and wander.
