Five years ago I embraced a challenge, to bring creativity to the forefront of my life. As someone who suffers from depression, I had been denying myself the simplest medicine available, honoring my nature and immersing myself in creative activities.

My activity of choice is painting. My work is an extension of my interior world as much as the world that surrounds us. I strive not to show my audience images but to evoke emotions. My style ranges from representational to abstract, but the purpose is consistent, to make that emotional connection.

Now more than ever I believe art can be a common denominator and help bring us together by tapping into our commonalities. So many of our experiences are universal, demonstrating we as humans are more alike than we are different. Just as art nurtures my soul, I strive to provide the opportunity for others to nourish and expand their hearts and minds.
