Van Eaton Crafting
Traveling from sunny, southern California to the arctic winters of Chicago, then to beautiful Boulder, Jessica has never stopped creating. She began learning the family tradition of lace crochet at age 6, and continues to expand and improve her artistic skills across every medium available to her.
As a disabled artist, Jessica understands the temporary nature of physical ability, and chooses to use her gifts and skills intentionally and creates each piece of art as a labor of love. Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT) is a progressive neuromuscular disease with symptoms similar to Multiple Sclerosis. As her disability has progressed, Jessica has continued to pursue new ways to express and display her art. After all, the heart of a creator has a need to create. And so she does!
Jessica's favorite passion is to create and spread joy through the medium of crochet. She is also skilled in photography, needlepoint, painting, digital media, structural engineering and the art of life coaching.
