In this hands-on, imagination-fueled class, young artists will dive into the world of clay, sculpture, and mixed media art! Students will learn foundational clay techniques—like pinching, coiling, and slab-building—while experimenting with sculptural forms, texture, and a variety of materials beyond clay.
Over the 8-week session, we’ll explore fibers, weaving, and surface design to create dynamic, one-of-a-kind artworks that blend 2D and 3D elements. From textured wall hangings to playful sculptural creations, students will discover endless ways to bring their ideas to life in three dimensions.
Perfect for creative kids who love building, shaping, and exploring new materials, this joyful class offers an inspiring introduction to the world of tactile, mixed-media art—no experience required!
